Once again this spring, the Ukrainian Catholic University is organizing a pilgrimage to western Ukraine and we would be delighted if you could join us!
 
The dates for this second annual spiritual journey are April 22- April 30, 2012, which is just a week after the celebrations of the glory of Christ’s Resurrection and Lviv will be rejoicing with a renewed hope of a brighter tomorrow and inspired faith that good triumphs over evil.
 
The trip – land package only – is  $1,650 based on double occupancy. There is an additional $300 fee for a single room.  This allows you the opportunity to book your own flight.  We will be happy to assist with flight arrangements.
 
The tour will focus on Eastern Europe’s most beautiful city – Lviv, situated at the traditional crossroads of European trade and culture. The city itself combines the best of Western and eastern influence. It is also the home of the Ukrainian Catholic University, where our group will have the opportunity to meet with University students and staff.
 
The pilgrimage will also include side trips to sacred places such as Stradch Hill and the Studite Monastery and travel to the countryside to see the beauty of the blossoming spring.  Pilgrims who have family in Ukraine will also be able to visit their loved ones, as free time has been set aside for such visits.
 
In Lviv, we will be based at the Grand Hotel, conveniently located in the center of the city.  There will be a deposit required for the land package by March 5, 2012 of $500.  We will be able to confirm the trip on March 7th , if enough individuals express an interest in the trip.  If we fail to reach a minimum of 10 people, we will have to cancel the trip. The remaining deposit will be due on March 30, 2012.
